Spectrum Fruits, Inc. is a global marketer of fruit ingredients. We cover a full spectrum of fruits from around the world. We specialize in prickly pear and nopal cactus products – juices, purees, concentrates and powders. Our other core products include tamarind concentrate, Alphonso mango puree, guava puree, fruit sugar concentrate (100% fruit syrup), and clarified juice concentrates. Chareonsri (Sri) Srisangnam, Ph.D., Founder
Dr. Srisangnam (Sri) worked at the University of Minnesota conducting research in food toxicology. She earned a B.S. in food science from Kasetsart University in Thailand. She traveled to the United States where she obtained an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Food Science from Utah State University. At Spectrum Fruits, Dr. Srisangnam manages all the aspects of business in Southeast Asia.
Vinod Padhye, Ph.D., MBA, founder
Dr. Padhye received his B.Sc. (with honours) in Chemistry and B.Sc. (Tech.), M.Sc. (Tech.) in Food Technology from the University of Bombay (Mumbai). He was awarded a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Utah State University. He has also completed an executive MBA with honors from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Dr. Padhye worked at General Mills for 15 years, focusing on technology-based new product development in fruits, vegetables and grains. At Spectrum Fruits, Dr. Padhye manages all business in the Americas, Europe and India. His responsibilities include R&D and technical support to processors and customers. He founded the non-profit organization Young Scientist Roundtable to help educate children on the wonders of science.
